Gotta love that deximethisone. Here's a sample of Riley's typical disposition lately. Her digestive system is still adapting to get back to normal and handle the big increase in food, but otherwise she is doing really well butshe is still not back to her normal self, doesn't really want to play, and won't crawl, walk, or sit by her self--except in her high chair to eat :)
Are those chubby cheeks emerging? She's looking so healthy, it's really hard to believe she had brain surgery less than two weeks ago.

ReplyDeleteHer cheeks are totally plumping up, and her belly is huge (but I think that is more a side effect of the steroids). She's gained about 3 lbs though!

ReplyDeleteLook at her go! I love the chubby cheeks! I also love the crabbiness and then the calm, "oh, where did that piece of food go???" So funny! I'm sure you're ready for the steroids to be over and have your normal happy little sweetpea back! Counting down till Wednesday! =) By the way, it was such a great surprise to see you, Jenni, at MOPS Friday, and to meet your mom-in-law. What a treat to get out of the house for a little while! Thanks Jaron for lending her out for a couple hours; we've missed her! =)
